Yes, completely free. Homeowners never pay anything to use Red Brush. Painters pay a per-lead fee, which is how we keep the platform free for you.
How many painters will contact me?+
We match your request with a maximum of 3–4 qualified painters in your area. We intentionally keep this number low so you get real attention from each contractor, not a flood of calls.
What types of painting projects does this cover?+
Interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet painting, deck and fence staining, commercial painting, and specialty finishes. If it involves paint, we can connect you with someone.
Am I obligated to hire one of the painters you send?+
Not at all. There's zero obligation. You receive quotes, ask questions, and choose whoever is the right fit — or nobody. It's entirely your decision.
How quickly will painters respond?+
Painters in our network receive your request in real time and are expected to follow up promptly. Most homeowners hear from at least one painter within a few hours of submitting their request.
Will my contact information be sold or shared?+
Never. Your details go only to the 3–4 painters matched to your specific request — not to aggregators, brokers, or marketing lists. That limit is contractual on our side.
How are the painters screened?+
Before a contractor joins our network we review licensing, insurance, and their track record of completed work. Contractors who generate complaints or fail to honor quotes are removed.
What happens after I submit my request?+
We review and match your request to local painters — usually within the hour during business hours. You'll get a confirmation email describing exactly what happens next, and painters reach out directly with quotes.
What if I only want a quote for a small job?+
Small jobs are welcome. Cabinet refinishing, a single room, touch-up work — describe the project and we'll match painters who take on jobs that size.
Can I choose when painters contact me?+
Your request includes your preferred timeline, and painters see it before reaching out. If you mark a project as flexible or planning-stage, that expectation is set from the start.
